Philip II, 247-249. Antoninianus (Silver, 23 mm, 4.12 g, 6 h), Antiochia, 248-249. IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II to right, seen from behind. Rev. AETERNITAS AVGG Elephant advancing left, guided by mahout holding wand in his right hand and goad in his left. Bland 68. Cohen 5 corr. (AVG on reverse). Ovári 10B. RIC 246a corr. (AVG on reverse). A lovely piece with a very attractive reverse. Very minor deposits, otherwise, good extremely fine.
